Eisteddfod

Eisteddfod is a very famous festival where lot of poet, singer and dancer make a show. The oral traditions go back up in the time of druids. They are very important for the Welsh people. The eisteddfod first one took place in 1176, then the event lost of its popularity in the XVIIth century. In 1860, an institution, National Eisteddfod Society, put back with current tastes this tradition. Today these festivals attract a lot of people.
